Upcoming Concerts

Shertalai Renganatha Sarma is one of the popular carnatic musicians today. He had the privilege of learning music from the renowned musician and musicologist, S. Ramanathan. He also had the privilege of musical interaction and learning from the renowned veena Vidwan Karaikudi Subramanya Iyer. This is second visit to Atlanta.
Sri. V.K. MANIMARAN hails from the illustrious Nadaswaram family. He is the grandson of Sri. Kulikkarai Pichayappa Pillai and his maternal uncle is Sri. Kulikkarai Viswalingam Pillai. He had performed in all the major sabhas in Tamil Nadu. His musical tutelage includes eminent teachers: Smt. Suguna Purushothaman, Smt. Rukmini Ramani, and Sri. Rajam Iyer. He later continued his musical training under the great guru Sri. Calcutta Krishnamoorthy. Sri. Manimaran has performed extensively in concert venues in India and abroad. He is a regular participant during the Cleveland festival.
Amrutha Venkatesh had her musical training under Gurus Sri M.T. Selvanarayana, Smt Charumathi Ramachandran and Prince Rama Varma.n She is one of the upcoming young musicians in the Carnatic field and had performed over 300 concerts in leading sabhas such as The Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, and others.
Dr. Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam is an eminent Carnatic music vocalist. She has been performing as a classical vocalist for over three decades and has performed extensively in India and abroad. She also has conducted numerous workshops and lecture demonstrations on the various aspects of Carnatic Music. She has presented papers at international conferences in many countries over the last decade. Dr. Vijayalakshmi had her initial music training with Sri K. Padmanabhan, a disciple of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar. Later, she learned from stalwart musicians such as Sri S.Rajam, T. R. Subramaniam and V. R. Krishnan.n
Mrs. Srivani Yella is a renowned Veena artist; she is a faculty at the Sri Venkateswara University, Thirupathi. She is invited to perform in Cleveland quite frequently and also during the Chennai music season.
